SMEs to break down barriers and gain access to under-exploited research in HEIs and to help universities to find outlets for their previous research, making them more aware of marketing needs.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5b154bb5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5b154bb5\" trying to access HEI research<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 Identify the barriers &amp; training needs that HEI staff experience when trying to access and engage with SMEs<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 Design &amp; produce a DVD training course for delivery to SMEs and HEI students<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 Design &amp; produce a complementary web-site, directly targeting SMEs<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 Pilot test a training resource with target users<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 Promote this resource to encourage uptake<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 Carry out an evaluation of the project to feedback into future policy<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7d93075a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"7d93075a\" class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 The barriers entrepreneurs &amp; HEIs face in six EU countries when trying engage with each other will be mapped and disseminated to stakeholders in those jurisdictions as well as the European Commission.<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 Entrepreneurs will be provided with the specific skills\/knowledge which can help them to innovate.<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 HEI staff will gain a deeper understanding of how SMEs function.<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 SME access to the course will be encouraged<\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"Textbody\">\u2022 There will be a network of HEIs sharing experience of working with SMEs to promote
